Crispy Chilli Beef Fried Rice
We’ve combined two of the nation’s favourite takeaway dishes - Crispy Chilli Beef and Fried rice and made it into a delicious, high protein and healthier option. It takes only 15 mins to knock up this dish, which is good because it could quite easily become a weekly staple.

Ingredients
Serves 4
For the Crispy Chilli Beef:
- 1/2 tbsp of groundnut oil (can be subbed for any oil).
- 3 cloves of garlic - finely chopped.
- Thumb-sized piece of ginger - finely chopped.
- 400g of 5% fat beef mince.
- Tsp of garlic granules.
- Tsp of onion granules.
- Tsp of Chinese five spice
- 2 red chillies - thinly sliced.
- Tbsp of light soy sauce.
- 1-2 tbsp of Kejap Manis (sweet and stick soy sauce).
For the Fried Rice:
- 1/2 tbsp of groundnut oil (can be subbed for any oil).
- 2 shallots - finely chopped.
- 1 red pepper - cut into large pieces.
- 500g of cooked, cold long grain rice.
- 1-2 tbsp of soy sauce.
- Tbsp of sriracha.
- Tbsp of ketjap manis.
- Tsp of Chinese five spice.
- 4 spring onions.
- Pak choi - thinly sliced.
- Coriander, to garnish.
